Secret Chats in Televo are encrypted on your own phone before they go anywhere, and not even we can read them. You shouldn't have to trust us with something this personal. Live sync across your devices, real voice & video calls, and encryption built on open standards.
When you open a Secret Chat, your phone creates the keys that will lock it, right there in your hand. Those keys never travel to a server. A message you send is already sealed before it leaves your device, and only the person you're talking to can open it.
If someone asked us to hand over a Secret Chat, we'd have nothing readable to give them. Not a policy we follow — a fact about how the math works.
Not a feature list. Just what happens when you reach for your phone. Chats sync live across every device you're signed into, and Secret Chats add a lock only you and the other person can open.
Tap the lock icon and Televo starts a Secret Chat: your phone and theirs agree on a private key between themselves, without us in the middle. From that point on, what you send is locked before it leaves your phone — we simply couldn't hand it over if we wanted to.
An X25519 keypair and an ML-KEM-768 (post-quantum) keypair are created locally the first time you open Televo and stored in your device’s secure storage (Keychain on iPhone, Keystore on Android) — neither private half ever leaves the device.
Only the public halves are published to your profile. Your contact's app combines a classic X25519 Diffie–Hellman handshake with an ML-KEM-768 encapsulation, so the conversation stays secure even against a future quantum computer, not just today's attackers.
Compare safety numbers in person or over another channel. A match means no one sat in the middle of that handshake.
No embedded browser tricks — Televo talks to your phone's camera and microphone directly, so the permission prompts appear exactly when they should. Every call is encrypted in transit, start to finish, and you get a real log of who called, when, and whether you picked up. Leave the app mid-call and the video follows you in Picture-in-Picture.
Everything on this page can be checked. The full source of Televo — the app, the servers and the encryption — is public on GitHub, so anyone can see exactly how Secret Chats are locked and what our servers keep.
Most apps market the roadmap as if it's already done. We'd rather tell you exactly where the line is today.
