1. Who may use Televo
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that is higher. By using Televo you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password and passcode confidential. Do not share your account with anyone else. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has accessed your account — you can also sign out any device yourself in Settings → Devices.
3. Rules of conduct — zero tolerance for abuse
Televo is a communication service. When using it you agree not to:
- post, send, or share content that is illegal, sexually explicit involving minors, or that depicts or promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm;
- harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, or bully any person;
- send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, malware, or phishing links;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- attempt to break, probe, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users.
4. Reporting and enforcement
Every message can be reported from inside the app: press and hold a message and choose Report. Any user can also be blocked from their chat.
Reports are screened automatically and escalated to human review, and we act promptly on confirmed violations — within 24 hours. Where a report is upheld we may remove content, warn the account, suspend it, or terminate it permanently. Accounts terminated for abuse may not be recreated. Repeated reports against the same account within a short window are rate-limited to prevent abuse of the reporting system itself.
Because chats may be end-to-end encrypted, we cannot read message content on our servers. A report submitted from the app includes the reported message so that it can be reviewed.
Suspensions and appeals. Suspensions get longer with each repeated violation, up to a permanent ban. A suspended account sees its Televo ID in the app. To appeal, email [email protected] from the email address registered on the account and include that ID. An AI assistant may draft the first reply, but the decision to lift or keep a suspension is always made by a person. To report another user by email, include their Televo ID (shown on their profile).
5. Copyright complaints
If you believe content sent through Televo infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with: (1) a description of the copyrighted work, (2) the specific content and where it was shared, (3) your contact information, and (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized and that the notice is accurate. We review and act on valid notices promptly. Because many chats are end-to-end encrypted, we can only act on content we can actually see — the same limit described in Section 4.
6. Content you send
You keep ownership of everything you send. You grant Televo only the limited permission needed to transmit, store, and deliver your content so the service works.
7. AI assistant
The built-in assistant's replies are generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions. Messages you send to the assistant are processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deletion removes your profile, messages, media, and encryption keys. It is permanent and cannot be undone.
9. Service provided "as is"
Televo is provided without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that messages will always be delivered or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.
10. No cookies or tracking
This website and the Televo app do not use cookies, analytics scripts, or any third-party tracking technology. Nothing about your visit or use is tracked across other sites or apps. See the Privacy Policy for what the app itself collects to function.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Televo is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a material change we will notify you in the app. Continuing to use Televo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
